Germany Opportunity Card 2024 – Apply Now

To recruit skilled workers from outside the European Union (EU), Germany is implementing the Opportunity Card (Chancenkarte). This program enables qualified individuals to visit Germany for a maximum of 12 months in order to seek employment, without the necessity of a job offer or employment contract in advance.   • Option 2: Employment Offer: Obtain a part-time employment offer in Germany. The Opportunity Card enables you to work part-time for a maximum of 20 hours per week, with an hourly wage of approximately 12 euros. This can result in a monthly income exceeding 1,000 euros.

4. Work Experience

A minimum of two years of professional experience in your discipline is required. Please furnish evidence of this by means of letters from your current or former employers.

5. Previous Visit to Germany

Spending more than six months in Germany within the past five years may enhance your prospects. Tourist visits are not included in this. Proof may be obtained through rental agreements or employment.

6. Spouse Qualification

If your spouse is also eligible for the Opportunity Card, you both have the opportunity to accumulate additional points. Your spouse must satisfy the fundamental prerequisites of the Opportunity Card, and you are required to submit a marriage certificate.
